For centuries it has been the complaint of Muslims that they have always been suppressed and set aside educationally, socially and economically. Before independence the leaders of the Muslim appeared arrested in these problems. Honestly speaking, the disease appears to be more and more infectious. The Aligarh Movement, which was led by SIR SYED AHMAD KHAN, spread education amongst Muslim and now a world has been realizing the fruits of education, culture and tradition for a long time from the TREE implanted by them.
After independence, for the sake of improvement of social, economical and educational conditions of Muslims, many a commission was established. Mass movements were started but neither any commission nor any movement showed much success in these fields. Madrasa rose up in nineteen century and spread fourteen Lac in the Century .
Commissions set up by many governments, conducted many surveys to know different conditions of suppressed Muslims and presented its reports to governments with a lot of recommendations. Some news papers kept on writing about the commissions to keep the matter on fire and after some time left it to die out. It is the tragic and bitter irony of northern India that great and respected Institutions such as Darul Uloom Nadwa,Lucknow, Darul Uloom Deoband, Saharanpur , Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh and Jamia Millia, New Delhi exist in this part of India which are victimized and stagmized by its own community time and again.
In order to cope with the changing scenario of the world, we will have to ponder over every aspect which has been ignored till now.
